For The Future
Dunn
Loring UMC is planning for an exciting new transition due to
a declining membership. Three years ago, Dunn Loring UMC embarked
on establishing a new congregation with the assistance of the “All
Things New” emphasis
of the Virginia Annual Conference. In July, 2009, a “new
start pastor”, Rev. Todd Shenecty, “Pastor Todd, ” will
begin forming a new congregation with a new vision for mission.

Welcome to our web page and our church. I am Pastor Larkin. I have recently come to Dunn Loring and have found acongregation of of 162 members who love Christ and his Church and want to spread his love throughout our community.
One of my favorite authors once said, “Our best parts unlived is just as bad as our worst parts unhealed.” (Ann Ulanov.) As pastor, this sums up what Dunn Loring Church is about – summoning those among us, and others, to live out our best parts as well as find healing for our worst. This is the redemptive work of Christ among us, and the challenge which enriches our lives. We would welcome you among us in this journey to be Christ’s people in our neighborhoods.
